# Cloudflare Stream Addon

> Cloudflare Stream catalog source — unlock via Cloudflare Stream Plugin, paste video UID on titles.

**Cloudflare Stream** (`addon.cloudflare-stream`) is a Streamly **streaming addon** — a catalog playback source.

This source is **hidden from Addons Discover**. Enable [Cloudflare Stream Plugin](/plugins/cloudflare-stream) to unlock it. Upload media in the **vendor** dashboard, then paste **video UID** under Catalog → Sources.

## How it works

### Playback flow

| Step | Where | What you do |
| - | - | - |
| **1** | Vendor dashboard | Upload / encode the video |
| **2** | Vendor UI | Copy Playback ID / UID / GUID / video id |
| **3** | `/admin/plugins` | Enable & configure the video plugin |
| **4** | Catalog → Sources | Attach the ID on the title |
| **5** | Storefront | Viewer plays via the managed adapter |

`video-plugin-addon-sync` creates/re-enables the `stream_providers` row when the plugin is configured — no separate Discover install.

## Setup guide

## Why it’s hidden from Discover

`listDiscoverableAddonPackages()` filters addons linked to a video plugin. **Plugin credentials first**, source attach second.
