Mux Addon - Streamly

Mux (addon.mux) is a Streamly streaming addon — a catalog playback source. This source is hidden from Addons Discover. Enable Mux Plugin to unlock it. Upload media in the vendor dashboard, then paste Playback ID under Catalog → Sources.

How it works

Playback flow

Step	Where	What you do
1	Vendor dashboard	Upload / encode the video
2	Vendor UI	Copy Playback ID / UID / GUID / video id
3	`/admin/plugins`	Enable & configure the video plugin
4	Catalog → Sources	Attach the ID on the title
5	Storefront	Viewer plays via the managed adapter

video-plugin-addon-sync creates/re-enables the stream_providers row when the plugin is configured — no separate Discover install.

Setup guide

Configure Mux Plugin

Complete required keys in /admin/plugins.

Upload at vendor

Use the vendor library UI (not Streamly).

Attach on title

Catalog → Sources → Mux → paste Playback ID.

Play

Confirm on the storefront.

Why it’s hidden from Discover

listDiscoverableAddonPackages() filters addons linked to a video plugin. Plugin credentials first, source attach second.
